The ten purposes that characterize this ministry:
- God is the priority in the mind, in the thoughts and hearts of his children. Praise be to God.
- Guide society to the knowledge of Jesus through music.
- God deserves the effort of his children for giving him the best. This requires dedication and preparation.
- Music produces a special influence on the mind and life of the Christian. It is necessary to make a careful selection of the works that are addressed. The spiritual reference for programming is based on Philippians 4:8: «Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.»
- The vision of Isaiah 57:15 about a high and sublime God, but at the same time close to the needy, are basic perspectives of this project. Simplicity,humility and closeness are combined with respect, reverence and the sense of the sacred.
- Music requires a conscious preparation:
a) Commitment: because a systematic individual practice is necessary, as well as regular attendance at the rehearsals.
b) Dedication:: because musical training requires time and effort. - For the Christian, sincerity, modesty, honesty and a genuine surrender to God take away pride or desire for self-exaltation.
- Music is also a form of prayer. As in language, vulgar expressions are avoided through refinement for the praise and proclamation of the message.
- Criteria of the Spirit of Prophecy are considered to program, act and evangelize: «Never bring the truth down to a low level in order to obtain converts, but seek to bring [...] up to the high standard of the law of God.» —Manuscript 7, 1900. {Ev 137.1}
- Commitment and support to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, as the remnant church of God, promoting its principles, message, organization and leadership.
